How Our Restore System Works

We do not "scrape". We reconstruct.
We do not give raw archive code. We clean it.
We do not deliver frames. We fix navigation.

We convert old archive data to modern, readable, stable output ready for hosting.

    The Restore Process

    1

    Snapshot Selection

You choose an archived version from the Wayback Machine. We fetch all available pages and assets from that specific date.

    2

    Frame and Wrapper Removal

Archive.org adds toolbars, navigation frames, and JavaScript wrappers. We strip all of this out so you get clean HTML.

    3

    Tracker Removal

Old tracking scripts like Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, and Clarity are removed. You get a clean slate.

    4

    Link Rewriting

All internal links pointing to archive.org URLs are converted to relative paths. Navigation works normally again.

    5

    Character Encoding Fix

Old charset declarations are updated to UTF-8. No more broken characters or encoding issues.

    6

    Asset Download

Images, CSS, JavaScript, fonts, and other files are downloaded and organized into a proper folder structure.

    7

    Sitemap Generation

A fresh sitemap.xml is created automatically with all restored pages for immediate SEO benefit.

    8

    ZIP Packaging

Everything is bundled into a clean ZIP file ready to upload to any web hosting service.

    What Can Be Restored

    HTML pages and content
    CSS stylesheets
    JavaScript files
Images (JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, SVG)
    Fonts and icon files
    PDF documents
    Page structure and layout
    Internal navigation
    Meta tags and titles
    Favicon and site icons

    Limitations

We can only restore what exists in the archive. The Wayback Machine does not store everything, and some content may be missing.

    Server-side functionality (PHP, databases)
    Login-protected or private pages
    Dynamic content (search, forms, checkout)
Files blocked by robots.txt at archive time
    Videos hosted on external services
    Third-party embedded content
    Email functionality
    Shopping cart or e-commerce features

    How We Handle Missing Assets

    Images Not Archived

If an image was not saved by the Wayback Machine, it will be missing from the restore. The HTML reference remains, but the file cannot be recovered.

    CSS or JavaScript Files

Some styling or scripts may not have been archived. The page will still work but may look different from the original.

    External Resources

Content hosted on other domains (CDNs, image services, video platforms) is not included unless it was also archived.

    Quality Guarantee

Every restore is processed with the same professional-grade system. You receive:

    • Clean, readable HTML without archive wrappers
    • Working internal navigation
    • Organized folder structure
    • Modern UTF-8 encoding
    • Fresh sitemap.xml for SEO
    • No old tracking scripts

If we cannot deliver a usable restore, you receive a full refund. If something is missing or broken, we fix it for free.
